OVERSEAS PACKAGING

Along with corrosion protection, proper securing in a crate, on a transport floor, pallet or transport frame is an equally important part of export packaging. In our packing centres we are ready to pack products, machines or parts weighing up to 130 tonnes in wooden packaging.

If the packing takes place on your dispatch premises, we will send a mobile packing team that respects all operational and safety regulations on your premises. Members of our packing teams are trained crane operators, bundlers and lift truck drivers.

SECURING AGAINST MOVEMENT

During the transport chain, overloads of up to 4G (four times the weight of the packaged consignment) are applied to the packaged product or machine
Therefore, we consistently ensure that the product or machine is properly secured against movement in the wooden packaging, as well as that the weight is properly distributed on the bottom of the crate, floor or pallet.

Depending on the destination, the length of transport, storage and packaging conditions, we select the correct number of drying units - all using a software calculation

PACKING IN HEAT SHRINKABLE LDPE FOIL

For long term storage or overseas shipping we offer heat shrink film.
Packing in this film is done with a heat gun so that the LDPE film is foamed around the packed product
Can also be supplied with VCI inhibitors

CRATE SIGNAGE

Proper crate signage using handling, warning is the foundation of any overseas packing
We cut all the necessary text signage on our cutting plotters and apply it with indelible paint to the crates or laminate it to the crate
We will deliver to the crates as required:
- Impact or tilt indicators
- Transport sketch in case of oversized products
- Photos of the packed shipment
- Covers for packing slips, packing lists or other accompanying documentation
- Dangerous goods warning signs according to IMDG, IATA or ADR standards
